Scottsdale Water Pipeline – 17km Supplied for Irrigation Scheme
The Scottsdale Irrigation Scheme is a $57.3 million project to provide 8600 megalitres of water to farmers in Tasmania’s north-east. In 2019, contractor Clover Pipelines engaged us supply pipeline for the scheme.
We supplied 17km of Ductile Iron Cement Lined (DICL) pipe, ranging in pressure classes and size from DN200 to DN500. We also applied A zinc-aluminium coating to pipe's exterior for more corrosion resistance. Clover successfully completed the project, and the first deliveries of water are on track for December 2020.
