The Straub Grip Coupling series features an axial restraint that supports the pipe. Any increase in internal pressure that boosts the axial tensile load causes the anchoring teeth to bite deeper into the pipe surface.

The Straub Grip and Metal Grip are for metal and rigid plastic pipes and can be used as a universal connection for nearly any piping system.

The Straub Combi-Grip is used for transitions from plastic to metal pipes, while the Plastic Grip is for connecting any type of plastic pipes.

A progressive sealing effect increases the force on the sealing lips as the pressure in the pipe increases. These couplings also have a progressive anchoring effect where the anchoring ring teeth bite into the pipe surface as the bolts are tightened.

Straub Grip Couplings are detachable, reusable, and can be used on smooth-ended pipes without any modifications.
