The Abrasiguard AC-Series Polyurethane-Lined Bend is a custom-fabricated spool that can be made in any bend radius or bend angle—commonly 3D or 5D—to minimise wear.

It uses the Abrasiguard AX-100 high-performance internal lining, a premium polymer designed for high slurry velocities, turbulent and non-turbulent slurry regimes, and small and large particle slurry.

The Abrasiguard polymer prevents gouging caused by higher energy particles. It also offers complete resistance to corrosion caused by dissolved oxygen in carrier fluid.

Standard applications for the Abrasiguard AC-Series bend include slurry transfer in mineral processing plants, concentrate pipelines, tailings pipelines, oil sands pipelines, and dredging.
