This Beaver plug valve is a compact design that provides bubble-tight shut-off in severe service applications. It’s designed for both isolation and throttling service.

The valve has a tapered plug that rotates a quarter-turn to open or close the valve. As the plug rotates, the 360° port lips provide a self-cleaning action to remove scale or sticking media. The valve also has no cavities where process fluid may accumulate or get trapped.

The valve has a threefold stem seal system — a primary sleeve seal, gasket seal, and tertiary packing seal — to ensure no leakage of the process fluid. A PTFE sleeve surrounds the plug to provide a tight seal. It is self-lubricating, reducing costly lubrication and maintenance.

The Beaver Sleeved Bolted Bonnet Flanged Plug Valve is available in two pressure classes (Class 150 and 300) and a range of sizes to suit your requirements.
