The Severe Service Knife Gate Valve by DSS has a zero-leakage bidirectional design that exceeds specifications set by ASME, API, and MSS up to Class 900.

Its distinctive feature is a guided shear gate which consists of a shearing tip, mechanically retained axial seat, and internal gate guides. The guides completely support the gate through a full stroke and prevent any deflection. The shearing tip with a bevelled edge can cut through solids, fibre, paste, and scale repeatedly and flush them into the pipeline. A primary seal and transverse secondary seal work in tandem to prevent fugitive emissions, leakage, and discharge.

Designed for the harshest abrasive conditions, the DSS SSKGV provides true bidirectional zero-leakage isolation when solids are present in the pipeline. You can choose from a range of material options to handle any corrosive media.
