The Powergenex ESV Solenoid Valve is a series of explosion-proof solenoid directional control valves suited for tough working environments. Its hard-wearing aluminium or stainless steel housing protects the valve in rough conditions. This solenoid valve is capable of containing explosion within the housing and preventing dangerous external ignition.

The 5/2-way solenoid valves have five ports and two states and are commonly used with double acting pneumatic actuators. The single coil type has a spring return function while the double coil type stays in position during power loss.

The 3/2-way solenoid valves, with three connection ports and two states, are typically matched with single acting pneumatic actuators. They are monostable valves, which means they’re either normally closed or normally open.

The valve head can be rotated 90°C to the right or left for mounting flexibility.
