The Slurryflex CLX XD-Series Reducer Ceramic Hose is a short-length hose typically used to connect a pump’s discharge with a pipeline of a different diameter. It can either be a concentric reducer, a cone-shaped hose that is on the same axis as the adjoining pipe, or an eccentric reducer, which has one flat side parallel to the connecting pipe.

The CLX series of ceramic hoses is designed for applications with severe wet sliding abrasion and erosion that would quickly wear out regular rubber mining hoses.

Fine grain alumina ceramic tiles are integrally built into the rubber using a hot vulcanisation process. This creates a seamless surface so the tiles can’t debond. Being set in rubber means the tiles absorb and dissipate impact, while Slurryflex Grade A rubber absorbs noise and vibration.

Independent tests show that Slurryflex hoses are the longest-lasting slurry hoses on the market. And all of our hoses are custom made in Australia to your specifications. Talk to us about your requirements and we’ll help you choose the right hose for the job.
