Tropicana Gold Mine – 2688 Valve Package Assembled and Delivered
Located 330km north east of Kalgoorlie, the Tropicana gold mine is owned and operated through a joint venture between AngloGold Ashanti and Independence Group. Annual throughput of 8.2 million tonnes per year makes it one of the top 10 gold mines in Australia.
In 2012, design engineer Lycopodium engaged us to fully supply valves for the site. This included 2688 manual and actuated valves, control panels, and air manifolds.
We were on hand to take out any guesswork during installation and we’ve continued to work with AngloGold Ashanti on valve upgrades, servicing, and maintenance.
