The Powergenex SS3 Smart Valve Positioner is a flameproof version of the SS2 model. Its explosion-proof housing is compliant with safety requirements set by IECEx, ATEX/TR-CU/KC Ex d IIC T6.
This compact positioner can be used on single or double acting actuators without further adjustments required. It also automatically detects reverse acting or direct acting types despite wrong air connections.
This smart positioner can be used with either analog, HART, Profibus PA, or Foundation Fieldbus communication protocols. It’s capable of improving control of high-friction valves and flagging performance failures.
The SS3 Smart Valve Positioner comes in two types: linear or rotary. It’s also available with a NAMUR standard mount and various mounting brackets for rotary valves.
