The CMO AB Knife Gate Valve is a general purpose valve with a monobloc body suitable for bidirectional service in low and medium-pressure applications.
The monobloc machine-cast body has built-in wedges that allow true bidirectional flow at the same working pressure.
This valve has a soft seat with a U-shaped rubber sealing joint covering the gate’s perimeter. An internal stainless steel wire maintains the shape of the sealing joint and keeps it in place. This design ensures a completely flat seal that prevents solid build-up and internal cavities.
The CMO AB Knife Gate Valve is suitable for liquids with a maximum solids concentration of 4%.
