The CMO A Knife Gate Valve is a general-purpose unidirectional valve that can be specified with a range of resilient seat and packing materials for use in applications with minimal solid concentration and low to medium pressure.

The monobloc cast body has a conical internal shape that provides enough clearance, allowing the gate to remain open for extended periods without requiring a large torque to close it. This also allows the gate to push out any solids when as it strokes to close.

The valve is built with internal guides that prevent the gate from bending due to counter-pressure. While the valve is designed to work optimally in the direction indicated, it can also support up to 30% of the working pressure from the opposite direction.

The CMO A Knife Gate Valve is suitable for liquids with a maximum solids concentration of 5%, as well as dry solids in gravity feed applications.
