The CMO D Knife Gate Valve has a monobloc die-cast body with a pressure-retaining screwed-down bonnet that allows it to support pressures up to 100 bar. The valve body has wedges that ensure seal-tightness and interior guides that support the gate as it slides.

The body’s conical internal shape and generous width provides enough clearance to allow the gate to remain open for extended periods without requiring a large torque to close it. And as it shuts, the gate pushes out any solids that may have accumulated.

This valve is designed for unidirectional flow with built-in internal guides that prevent the gate from bending due to counter-pressure. This also allows the valve to support up to 30% of the working pressure from the opposite direction. The valve can also be specified for bidirectional use.

The CMO D Knife Gate Valve is suitable for clean liquids or liquids containing solids in high pressure applications.
